See exactly what your child will build at Alpha Santa Barbara
Every afternoon at Alpha Santa Barbara pairs two hands-on workshops. Pick your child's grade band and week to preview the exact lineup.
Survival Sutures
Your child learns real interrupted suturing technique using the same instruments and knot used in emergency medicine. The week moves from instrument grip drills on foam to single stitches on banana peels to three-stitch rows on silicone pads.
Friday Showcase
Friday, they place a three-stitch row on a silicone pad in front of you, tie and cut all three knots, and narrate the technique steps aloud with no guide assistance.
AI App Architects
Your child designs and ships a real working mobile app in five days using Glide (a no-code platform) with AI assistance for ideation, logic, and copy. The deliverable is a live URL you open on your phone by scanning a QR code on their printed App Card.
Friday Showcase
Friday, your child walks you through their app’s screens, explains what problem it solves, and defends one design decision they made.

Morning academics run as usual. In the afternoon, workshops give way to the end-of-week showcase — where your child presents what they built to an audience of families and guides. Pickup is still at 4:00 pm.
