Every afternoon at Alpha Kirkland pairs two hands-on workshops. Pick your child's grade band and week to preview the exact lineup.

Workshop 1Courage

Fear Factor

Your child faces a progressive series of sensory challenges all week: mystery texture stations, blindfolded sensory bins, oobleck, slime, and a Fear Buster Obstacle Course. Each child creates a personal Fear Monster (an AI-generated image of their inner anxiety) that they hold up and “talk back to” before each challenge.

Friday Showcase

Friday, parents act as recruits while their child runs the full course plus a surprise sixth station, narrating every step.

Workshop 2AI + Storytelling

AI Storybook Authors

Your child authors an original 4-page storybook by developing a character, a problem, and an ending. The guide runs the AI tools; your child dictates, rejects options, and directs the illustrations.

Friday Showcase

Friday they read their professionally printed Mixbook hardcover aloud to you, holding up the original AI image versus the final illustration and explaining what was wrong with the first one.

Morning academics run as usual. In the afternoon, workshops give way to the end-of-week showcase — where your child presents what they built to an audience of families and guides. Pickup is still at 4:00 pm.
