Alpha Charlotte · Afternoon Workshops
See exactly what your child will build at Alpha Charlotte
Every afternoon at Alpha Charlotte pairs two hands-on workshops. Pick your child's grade band and week to preview the exact lineup.
First Responders
Your child becomes a Certified First Responder by independently following picture procedure cards to perform real first aid: putting on gloves, cleaning wounds, applying bandages, fitting arm slings. Progresses from 2-step procedures to a 6-step certification challenge.
Friday Showcase
Friday they receive a sealed mystery injury, select the correct supplies, and complete the procedure with no adult help. They take home a first aid kit they assembled themselves.
Birdhouse Builders
Your child designs and builds a real wooden birdhouse over five days. Day 1 they describe their dream birdhouse to an AI image tool that generates a paint reference. Days 2–3 are hands-on construction with glue (and hammers for first graders).
Friday Showcase
Friday they present the finished birdhouse to you, explain one design choice, and describe one construction step they learned.

Morning academics run as usual. In the afternoon, workshops give way to the end-of-week showcase — where your child presents what they built to an audience of families and guides. Pickup is still at 4:00 pm.
