# Alpha Summer 2026

**Now Enrolling · Summer 2026 · 23 Campuses Nationwide**

## You've heard about Alpha. This summer, come try it.

One week. That's all it takes to know if this is the school for your family. By Friday, you'll have everything you need to decide.

---

## About Alpha School

- Students learn 2x in 2 hours with personalized, AI-powered learning plans.
- Classes rank in the top 1–2% nationally.
- We don't have teachers. We have "guides," who are experts at motivating and mentoring students.
- The only school in the world where kids say they would rather go to school than go on vacation.

---

## What One Week Looks Like

Personalized learning in the morning. Life skills that seem impossible in the afternoon.

Alpha Summer lets your child experience what a typical day at Alpha is like. Every morning starts with personalized academics tailored to their level and pace, all done by lunch. Every afternoon opens up into hands-on workshops where kids build, move, pitch, create, and do things that seem impossible. Surrounded by classmates and adult guides who support them, this is why Alpha kids love school more than vacation.

### Morning · 9:00 – 11:45

**Core Skills — 2-Hour Learning**
AI-powered, personalized academics in math and reading at exactly your child's level. Mastery-based, adaptive, done by lunch.

### Afternoon · 12:30 – 3:45

**Life skills workshops**
Two hands-on workshops every afternoon: entrepreneurship, leadership, public speaking, martial arts, robotics, and more.

### Friday · End of week

**Proof you can see**
Same morning academics, then the end-of-week showcase in the afternoon. You watch the work, receive the academic snapshot and student profile, and leave with proof.

### A note on one week

Alpha's life skills curriculum is a year-long journey. In one week, your child gets a genuine taste of the energy, the standards, and the kind of confidence Alpha builds over time. The goal is not to promise the full transformation in five days. The goal is to let your family feel what makes Alpha different.

## Academics — Morning

**Personalized learning, done by lunch. Real data you can take home.**

Every morning, your child works with a personalized, AI-powered learning plan at exactly their right level. On Tuesday, you'll receive a nationally standardized NWEA MAP® snapshot showing where your child stands. By Friday, you'll have a personalized plan for what comes next.

- **2×** — Students learn twice as fast as in traditional school
- **Top 2%** — Alpha classes rank nationally in academic performance
- **2 hrs** — Of focused, AI-powered academics every morning
- **100%** — Personalized — every child works at their exact right level

### Tuesday Deliverable: Academic Performance Snapshot

Delivered Tuesday. Your child takes the NWEA MAP® — the same adaptive assessment used by millions of students nationwide. You'll see exactly where they stand in Math and Reading, compared to the U.S. median and the Alpha median.

| Detail | Value |
|--------|-------|
| Assessment | NWEA MAP® (nationally standardized) |
| Subjects | Math & Reading |
| Comparison | Your child vs. U.S. median vs. Alpha median |
| Grade Mastery | K–12 mastery map — gaps identified by grade |
| Targeted Plan | Personalized acceleration path included |

### Friday Deliverable: Your Child's Alpha Academic Plan

Delivered Friday. Growth cannot be measured in one week, but a trajectory can. Using your child's MAP® results and the week's observations, your guide builds a forward-looking plan showing where your child is, and exactly where they could go at Alpha.

| Detail | Value |
|--------|-------|
| Based On | NWEA MAP® results + guide observations |
| Week Milestones | Lessons completed & standards mastered this week |
| Alpha Placement | R90 level placement (mastery-based) |
| 1-Year Projection | Projected grade-level gains with daily XP minimums |
| 1-Year w/ Homework | Accelerated path with 1 hr/day additional practice |
| Focus Areas | Subject gaps identified from mastery map |

> "I was super skeptical about two hours of learning. Can they really learn that much? The results speak for themselves. I am now confident that my child's understanding is not only solid, it is stronger than before. There is simply no comparison to the experience we had at our previous school."

## Afternoon Workshops

**At Alpha, the afternoons are not filler. They are the part parents remember.**

At Alpha, academics are done by lunch. The rest of the day is for life skills workshops: hands-on, team-based experiences that teach entrepreneurship, leadership, public speaking, relationships, and grit. Depending on the week and age band, your child may be building, moving, practicing, pitching, racing, presenting, or launching something real by Friday.

- **Not just screens** — The digital work is real, but it is never the whole story. Kids print prototypes, sew projects, build robots, suture practice wounds, and bring home something concrete.
- **Active and hands-on** — Depending on the week, students may train martial arts, run drone relays, practice survival medicine, complete parkour routes, or step into controlled combat sports.
- **Visible by Friday** — Parents do not get vague enrichment language. They watch the showcase, open the app, scan the QR code, or hold the physical project in their own hands.

### Workshop Age Bands

#### K–1 (Ages 5–6) — "I can do anything if I keep trying"

Your kindergartener will write, illustrate, and publish a real hardcover book using AI, then stand at a podium and read it to you at The Author's Gala. They will also train in martial arts and perform a live Friday demonstration. The point is not screen time. The point is confidence made visible.

**Signature Build: AI Storybook Authors** — Your kindergartener describes their characters to an AI, helps direct the illustrations, and brings home a published hardcover book. Friday showcase: The Author's Gala — a formal book reading event.

**Active Proof: Martial Arts** — Your five-year-old performs a martial arts form they learned in five days with focus and discipline you did not know they had.

#### Grades 2–3 (Ages 7–8) — "Do the impossible"

Second and third graders invent toys, create AI-assisted branding, 3D-print physical prototypes, and pitch them at The Alpha Toy Fair. They also fly drones through team obstacle relays.

**Signature Build: AI Toy Inventors** — Your second grader has a 3D-printed prototype, AI-generated branding, and a memorized sales pitch they co-wrote with AI. Friday showcase: The Alpha Toy Fair.

**Active Proof: Drone Pilots** — Your second grader navigates a drone through an obstacle course by trusting a teammate's voice commands alone. Real teamwork, real stakes.

#### Grades 4–5 (Ages 9–10) — "We > Me"

Fourth and fifth graders launch real apps that parents can open on their phones, then spend the week in high-stakes, hands-on survival simulations learning triage and suturing.

**Signature Build: App Architects** — Parents scan a QR code on Friday. A real, working app their fourth-grader built opens on their phone. Friday showcase: The App Launch Keynote.

**Active Proof: Survival Sutures** — Your fourth grader can suture a wound, run triage, and keep a team calm under pressure. Skills most adults don't have.

#### Grades 6–8 (Ages 11–13) — Leadership & Entrepreneurship

Middle schoolers build a tabletop trebuchet that aims itself with AI-assisted calibration, then train in real combat sports with conditioning and Friday exhibitions.

**Signature Build: Autonomous Siege Engineers** — Your middle schooler builds a tabletop trebuchet that aims itself. A four-agent AI team writes every line of calibration code. No remote control. It is autonomous. Friday showcase: The Accuracy Tournament.

**Active Proof: Combat Sports** — Five days of real conditioning and real technique. On Friday, your middle schooler steps into the ring and demonstrates what they have learned.

> "We were blown away by the life skills portion of the program. Our child comes home tired, happy, and motivated to get back after it the next day. I cannot overstate how impressed I am with the total change in my child."
> — 4th Grade Parent

### Before Alpha Summer

Welcome to the community — before day one.

The moment you register, you're in. You'll be invited to join our private parent community — a hub where you can connect directly with current and prospective Alpha families, access exclusive content, and receive invites to events before your child's first day.

High-touch, every single day.

- Fall enrollment offer (if the fit is right)
- Remote Alpha products for families not near a campus

> "The only thing I would say is that one thing we've noticed about the community of families that have joined Alpha thus far is that it's a real community of doers. These are people who have created things, they're entrepreneurs. They're building things out in the real world, and they're interesting and they're fun."

## World-Class Guides

**In five days, your child's guide will truly know them.**

By Friday, your child's guide will know their goals, their motivations, how they handle adversity, and what makes them come alive. They'll prove it to you with a multi-dimension Student Profile delivered at the end of the week.

- **They know your child as an individual** — A guide's sole focus is motivational and emotional support. They learn each child's goals, what makes them tick, how they handle setbacks, and what they need to unlock their potential. Every child is known deeply.
- **Motivational and emotional support, not instruction** — The AI handles personalized instruction. The guide's job is to hold each child to high standards, support them through challenges, and make sure they love coming to school every single day.
- **Small ratios. Real attention.** — Student-to-guide ratios vary by age band: K–1 is 5:1, grades 2–3 is 6:1, grades 4–5 is 8:1, and grades 6–8 is 10:1. Your child gets real, personal attention every day — not just when they raise their hand.

### Dean of Parents

Your personal advocate and guide to all things Alpha. The Dean of Parents is a dedicated point of contact whose only job is to make sure your family has everything you need — before, during, and after the week.

## The Student Profile

**By Friday, your guide delivers proof. A multi-dimension portrait of your child.**

This isn't a report card. It's a portrait of who your child is, built through daily one-on-one conversations, observation at meals, academic performance patterns, and real moments of challenge and recovery across the week.

Every parent who receives this profile says the same thing: "How did they know all of this in just five days?" That's what it means to have a guide, not just an instructor.

The profile is presented on Friday by your child's guide, with specific observations and examples from across the week, as part of the enrollment conversation.

**Sample Student Profile dimensions:**
- What Motivates This Child — Mastery and peer recognition. Responds strongly to challenges framed as "can you figure this out?" rather than direct instruction.
- How They Handle Adversity — Initial resistance, then strong recovery. By Day 3, was the first to re-attempt a failed challenge without prompting.
- Their Social World — Natural connector. Sought out quieter peers and included them. Leadership potential is significant.
- Guide's Recommendation — Strong fit for Alpha. Recommend Level 2 placement. This child will thrive here.

> "Her guide is Liam and they're really close. They have a secret handshake. And I think that's what lets him be effective - if he's got a good relationship with the kids, they'll trust him and let him coach them and motivate them to do the hard work."

## FAQs

### How is this different from a summer camp?

Alpha Summer is not a camp. It's the actual Alpha School experience — the same AI-powered academics, the same life skills workshops, the same guide model — compressed into one week or one month. The entire purpose is to let your family experience what Alpha is really like before committing to full-time enrollment. You'll leave with real data about your child's academic level, a personalized academic plan, and a clear answer to whether Alpha is right for your family.

### Do I have to pull my child from their current school?

Not at all. Alpha Summer takes place during the summer, so there's no disruption to your child's current school year. It's the perfect opportunity to experience Alpha without any commitment — and then decide whether you want to make the switch in the fall or later on.

### Can we enroll in Alpha School right after Alpha Summer?

Yes. Alpha Summer is designed to be your family's on-ramp to full-time Alpha enrollment. On Friday of your week, your Dean of Parents will sit with you one-on-one to discuss your child's experience, share their academic plan, and walk through the fall enrollment process. Many families make the decision to enroll before they leave on Friday.

### What is the parent community?

When you register for Alpha Summer, you'll be invited to join our private parent community — a hub where you can connect directly with current and prospective Alpha families, access exclusive content, receive invites to events, and start building relationships before your child's first day. Many parents tell us the community is one of the best parts of Alpha.

### What happens at the end of the week?

Friday is the culmination of the week. Your child presents what they built to an audience of families and mentors. You'll receive your child's personalized student profile — a multi-dimension portrait of who they are, built by their guide across the week. And your Dean of Parents will sit with you one-on-one to review your child's academic plan and discuss fall enrollment. You'll leave with a clear, confident answer.

### What is the student-to-guide ratio?

Ratios vary by age band: K–1 (LL) is 5:1, grades 2–3 (L1) is 6:1, grades 4–5 (L2) is 8:1, and grades 6–8 (L3) is 8–10:1. Our guides are world-class mentors who specialize in knowing your child as an individual. They are the magic that makes Alpha work.

### What ages and grades is Alpha Summer for?

Alpha Summer is open to students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. Children must be at least 4 years and 10 months old by July 1 to enroll. Students are grouped by age band (K–1, Grades 2–3, Grades 4–5, Grades 6–8) and placed in academic levels based on their diagnostic results — not their age — to ensure every child works at exactly the right level.

### Do I still need to schedule a Shadow Day?

No. Alpha Summer is your family's full introduction to Alpha School. Your child experiences the real Alpha day for an entire week: AI-powered academics, life skills workshops, and one-on-one time with a world-class guide. By Friday, your child's guide will have completed a Student Profile, you'll have a personalized Academic Snapshot, and your Dean of Parents will walk you through the enrollment path. Everything a Shadow Day provides, Alpha Summer delivers in greater depth over five days. No separate application or evaluation is needed.

### What are the drop-off and pickup times?

Drop-off is between 8:15–8:45 am and pickup is between 4:00–4:30 pm.

### What is the refund policy?
